I have 3 boxes left to unpack/sort/put away. 3 lonely little boxes, I am trying to ignore them, I have unpacked and found places for everything else. Our new house is definitely smaller than our old one. We have one less bedroom, and all of the rooms are smaller in size, the garage is a whole car smaller. And my kitchen, oh sadness, I left a great, big, beautiful kitchen for one that is like a shoebox (a toddlers shoe box).Sigh, the things you will do for your kids to have a yard.
Before we moved I got rid of quite a bit of furniture and made LOTS of Goodwill drops. Since we have been here I made 3 more trips to Goodwill to drop off things, I don't know where all of this came from! Anyway, it has been quite challenging to fit everything in here. And I am procrastinating doing anything with these last 3 boxes.
Two of them I know just need to be sorted and stored, where exactly I will store them is a very very good question.
On a much happier note I am planning on picking some apples and pears this evening, there are a few beautiful red apples out there calling my name.......Can you hear them????? Oh........ never mind it's just the kids.
I am still picking apples later, hopefully by then I will have these last 3 boxes taken care of........ hopefully :)

A smaller house can be a blessing, there is less to clean. Try to think of it as living more simply! But a smaller kitchen, oooh, that one hurts. As I am relatively new to your blog I have to ask - when did you move and to where?

yum with the apples and pears! that would be a nice benefit of your new place! I do think a yard for kids is always a good idea, even though sometimes inside space is taken away a bit. I'm betting those 3 boxes are unpacked and put away by now!

I have 1 left! It is such a mix-mash of things I left it and went to play outside :)
I moved in 6 weeks agao and have literally 10 boxes in the basement still, you are doing wonderfully. So envious of your fruit trees!
Now I feel guilty...I still have 4 or 5 boxes in the attic from when we moved....in 1995... ;)

Oh, believe me if I had anywhere to hide them and leave for a few years I would. It's too hard to leave them alone when I keep tripping over them every time i go into the family room, lol.
Store them on the roof! I hate unpacking--with a passion. ugh! it's awful. I even hate unpacking my suitcase after a trip.
