I have seen those truffles all over blog world this week, and I made them on Saturday. delicious!
I have to say, I love Oreo truffles a bit more.
I could see the peanut butter buttons being a BIG problem here. Because you could eat, like, 10 of them to equal a couple of "real" cookies, right???? Right?!?!?
yum on both the peanut butter buttons and the truffles; the peanut butter buttons look a lot like thumbprint cookies my mom would make but she didn't use peanut butter in the recipe; but I bet these taste delicious! enjoy!
betty
Those Peanut Butter Buttons look deadly for me. I can no longer resist it anything with peanut butter (since I was pregnant 2 years ago!). I swear the peanut butter ones with the kisse sin the middle did me in in my first pregnancy too.
YUM...cinnamon pancakes!
You needed suggestions on what to have for a giveaway. how about a cookie box. But don't forget to pick me!
They all look so yummy. lovely photos too!
It all looks so scrumptioulicious!
They all look so good! I'm tempted to try the truffles but I'm not great when it comes to melting chocolate. Still might try it though.
Oh my sister-in-law bakes those peanut butter button cookies, they are awesome!
Those pb button are so CUTE! And I think I;m adding the truffles to my ever-expanding list.... ;)
Oh my! those look so good, my mouth is watering. :D thanks for the recipe i'll have to try making them!
Thank you all!
Kristina, We LOVE the Oreo ones here too :)
Rg- I think 15 of them equals one ;)
Monica- a cookie box is a great idea!
LB- melting the chocolate in the microwave is so easy, I never use a double boiler because I worry about getting water in my chocolate, which I would do, I am messy when I cook :)
Christine- I made my self just pick 2 things this year, I always get carried away, there are so many fun things to make!
You guys are all awesome thanks for the comments :)
This all looks fabulous! And no, I do not have my baking done - you're making me look bad! ;)
Stopping in by way of Deb's page at Menopausal New Mom.
My daughter-in-law once made those little guys with the chocolate center. I loved them. I printed out your recipe and I'm going to make them myself. I just hope they still look like yours when I'm all done with my two left hands.
Nice to meet you.......Matty
It all looks so delicious!! I love the peanut butter button cookies - they look so cute and just perfect for the little ones. Cookie dough truffles sound out of this world. I really need to try my hand at them. I am trying to be good and not bake this year, but that is really not any fun, is it?
Well if I wasn't hungry enough before I sure am now! The chocolate chip cookie dough truffles are perfect for me. I love cookie dough!!! And the button cookies are adorable!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
Hi Lissaloo
I was wondering if I could swap out regular milk for buttermilk. Also do I have to add baking soda to the mix since I'm using buttermilk, if so, how much baking soda do you think I should add.
Hi Jackie!
Yes I'm sure you can use buttermilk, I would add 1t. baking soda to the mix if you do it that way :)
I am a peanut-butter-aholic. Seriously.
