In fact they should always be made as a bar cookie, I have never liked Snicker Doodles because they are a crisper, dryer cookie than I like.
This Bar Cookie recipe is really, really good. They are cinnamon-y and chew-y and perfect-y :)
I am giving you the link so that you can print out the recipe, because you NEED to make these, they are that wonderful. Thank you to Heidi at Tried-and-True cooking with Heidi for this wonderful recipe :)

Those look so moist and chewey!
YUMMMMMM and yes, I would like you to send me some of yours.
I'm with you, I like chewy cookies instead of crispy ones. Snickerdoodles can be pretty dry, but these look wonderful!
I have a copy of that recipe from Heidi's blog, but I haven't tried it yet. I was picturing them warm out of the oven with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel topping. YUM!!!
I love bar cookies much better than regular cookies. So thick and dense and chewy - yum!
Snickerdoodles have always been my favorite cookie! The only thing that would make me love them more would be making them in bar form!!! I am absolutely trying these!!! (Maybe tomorrow!!!)
Thanks!!!
yes these are good but I like the cookies too!
Um, hello, these look fabulous! Of corse they are better in a bar cookie! Why didn't I think of that! I will have to give these babies a try!
I made them tonight! Better than the cookies and everyone loved them! So moist and yummy!
Ok, so I just made these- AMAZING!! I love, love, love them! I am giving most of them to our local firemen and I am kind of sad they are leaving our house. I am doing a blog post about these babies today!! Thanks for the fabulous find Lisa!
